The Allen Bradley Rockwell produced Micro 820 Controller is available in various models, consisting of various I/O arrangements. The controller also accommodates any class 2 rated 24V DC output power supply that meets minimum specifications such as the optional Micro800 power supply. This family of controllers can be programmed by using the free Connected Components Workbench software or can connect to a remote LCD (2080-REMLCD) for configuring. The Micro820 Controller is designed primarily for stand alone machines and remote automation projects. Despite being small in size, the Micro 820 is full of features including 20-point embedded I/O, can accommodate up to two plug-in modules, has status indicators, a real time clock, embedded Ethernet, RS232/485 and USB ports as well as a micro-SD slot which proves invaluable for program backups and restores, recipe functions and data logging.
